So after my first attempt at trying this about two weeks ago, it didn't turn out so well cause i got a crack in the passenger tail light. I really wanted to take them out so I tried it again today and after an additional crack, a cut on my finger, and what felt like forever.. i finally got the stupid amber out.. F*** those amber pieces!

ADVICE: for anyone that plans on doing this in the future.. I found out that the amber pieces are clipped in on the back on the tail light to where u can actually unclip it, so if you are for sure going to do this.. itll be easier to unclip the amber piece so its loose and you can just drop it right out after you open up the lens..

Looks good. But, sorry to hear that you had so much trouble taking it out.

nice job dude. This is one of my next tasks. How long did it take?

1 to 1 1\2 hours cause i was being VERY careful this time when prying the lens from the housing. Also I got cut while sticking my hand in there and my blood actually got on the lens so I had to ask my sister to clean it with a q-tip while i opened it up. pretty nasty.

Same thing happened to me man, my left passenger tail got a little crack in it but it's definitely worth getting those amber pieces out!
