So some of you may be experiencing the same as me, when using the OEM top plates with the OEM rubber insert in the top plate, the narrower diameter spring that came with my Ground Control's, slips through the center and ends up resting on the bare metal of the top plate.
This makes a hell of a racket when going over bumps.
So I was thinking, what if I flipped the top plate upside down and filled the bottom part(that the spring rests in) with polyurethane, let it dry for 2 days and put it back on.
You guys think it would resist the weight of the spring pushing against it and provide a good "seat" for the spring?

I think some coilover sleeves are narrower in diameter than just regular lowering springs. Not sure what to do about it tho. See if the coilover brand sells an accompanying tophat to come with it?

It's the eibach springs that come with the GC's. The outside diameter of the spring is alot smaller than the oem springs. GC sells rubber inserts that fit in the top of the spring to isolate it from the bare metal, but i didn't get them when I bought mine used, but they sell them for 20$ each!!!
