the f23 is 7.5 secs and the j30 is 6.4 .....

Ok, dipping my toes into this troll infested water....

Where in the hell did you find specs like that? When I was 16 and had just bought my 6th gen I would have killed for numbers like that to brag about. Sadly, they are very far off. In extremely good conditions, a 4cyl 5 speed would get to 60 in around 8 seconds, and a V-6 would be lucky to edge it out by anything less than a few tenth's of a second. From the factory, its timed at like 7.8. If you are trying to tell me that a 6th gen V6 is nearly as fast as my 7th gen, I would kindly ask you to put your money where your mouth is. Neither car is fast, neither car will ever be fast, and the I-4 is nearly equal in every way except that it gets better fuel economy, it handles better and isn't hampered by a crappy transmission.

V6 6 spd swap > I4 MT > Stock auto V6 and I4

The gearing in the V6 auto is ****. YES, it has more power and torque, but it would get walked on in a 0-60 with an I4 MT. Even the Auto I4 can almost keep up with the V6.

there is no "settling this" mr. canyon racing poser

next time just do proper research, because guess what....we happen to know what we're talking about.
