Would it even be worth it to use 89 or 93? I figured not so I said regular. .
Well, you could go 93 or more and advance the timing, that's the only way you would see benifits, i wouldn't want to mess with that personally.

That's a decent time though. I want to gtech my car and see if i can break 16 on that, i swear my car feels faster than alot of other accords i've driven, even though i just removed my resonator. Not worth going up to sacto to run it though.

Get some slicks and adj suspension, stiffen up the rear and soften the front. Lower the pressure in your tires.

Lower the front tire pressure to 20-25PSI's
THat's will help with your launch.
Also, try to run right after a car with slicks.
When they leave, try to make your tires match where they left. THat's the stickiest part of the track.
Just be careful through cause you can break an axle easily there if launched too hard

I say wait til after you do your G swap to advance your timing. Then tune it for 93 gas and then advance. Get the Bisimoto cam gears.

Yea, I'm planning on getting the Bisimoto cam gears, not just yet though.

I know for a fact I could do 15.5 or better, just based on my trap of 89.5 mph, even though the time was 16 flat. My best 60' was 2.423, which was my best time, 15.8, and that was with wheel hop. If my 60' dropped to even 2.3, that should be around 15.5 right there. I'm planning on getting new tires probably this week or next for the track, and then go again next Saturday, June 9th to run again. Dry rotted tires FTL

I was happy with my 15.8 since it was the first time at the track, especially without practicing launching before, but I know my car is faster than a 15.8..

That's what i was talking about. Although I'd still be weary on pump gas, 93 or not. I'd say 2 degrees to be safe.

so cam gears have nothing to do with adjusting ignition timing right?
You might have to adjust your ignition timing to optimise power but it won't mechanically alter your ignition timming.
