I know about the tranny recall but was wondering if honda just puts in the same crappy transmisson or do they put in new redesigned one's in?

Same - probably factory replacements or rebuilt units.

yes, they are all factory rebuilt units, and they claim they have fixed the problem and give it a 100k warranty (i think). ive heard of many people have worse luck with 2nd tranny then frist though

They install rebuilt units.
If the same problem exists, they'll replace it with a new one

hmm, i had mine replace before i bought it. never had any more problems. maybe i rarely WOT it. haha
