what all transmissions will bolt up to the f23 motor, i know its short and may be dumb but i kinda need an answer, cause mine is getting close to gone

It's not dumb at all. Better you ask before you went out and bought something that did not fit.
If your car is an automatic, then only the f23 or H22 automatic will work, I think. But I'm not sure, I think there are a lot of electrical gremlins with the h22 set-up to resolve.
If your car is a manual, then yes. You can bolt an f22,f23,h22 or h23 manual transmission.
The price for a rebuilt automatic ranges anywhere from 1,500 to over $2,000 dollars.
A used manual is cheap to find, You can find one for around 300-500 smackeroos with under 100k miles depending on where you live. Rebuilding a manual transmission is also a lot easier. That might be your best bet if ur manual

actually i was going to swap in a 5spd, because i have an auto, but i want a manual, so i think i found a prelude trans, which i think should work but idk,
