today i brought my car to open road honda because my transmission was acting strange. I get a call 2 hours later and they said my transmission is done :( Luckily it is cover by the extended warranty for 7 yrs or 109000 miles  but while they were looking at the car they found my engine mount is broken as well as the ball joints. This sucks cause i just got the car and it only has 80000 miles on it. Its a 2001 Accord 4DR V6.Was going to buy rims but now thinking of selling it after they fix it:confused:

after they fix it youll be fine for a while. you dont need to get rid of it if you dont want to. they may be trying to milk your wallet with that "ball joint and engine mount" stuff. also, with the v6's, a broken tranny isnt anything new.

what?! haha, god damn. **** that. tell them you want to see it before you make a final decision on getting that stuff done. youve only got 80k, i dont see why your ball joints would be bad, i havent even heard of them going bad. ive got 110k, and my last accord had 112k, and the ball joints were fine. theyre def trying to rip you off id say. ive gone there a couple times when i worked for honda, and they didnt seem all that great to me when i was there.

Don't replace the motor mount from honda. Tell them you want to see it 1st hand that it is indeed broken, same with the ball joints. Check to see if their excessive play in them. $1000!!! for the engine mount!!
