transmission filler and drain bolt

Yea, I definately tried to get that filler bolt off and almost decided to just drink the atf fluid I have bought and kill myself instead.

lol not really, but I can't get the effing thing off so. Yea, I don't know where to find a funnel narrow enough to fill it through the dipstick hole though cause that hole is like.. :jarred:

yeah I am telling you guys that filler bolt is SUPER TIGHT, you need to use a long extension (15-20in straight up) and then a ratchet/breaker bar with a cheater bar and probably still some muscles. When I got it to open, it made a POP sound, like a small fire cracker.

Personally I ain't letting no stinking bolt tell me who's the boss

I find this rather amusing of a post since, I too, just realized there was a filler bolt on the top of the transmission and was going through the dipstick hole until about 3 weeks ago when I stumbled upon it's existence.

On the 4 cylinder, it's on the passenger side of the car. Just look for the same shaped bolt that is on the picture at the beginning of this thread for the V6 Accord. They both use the same bolt but the 4 cylinder one is just on the passenger side of the car near the tire. To refill it, pull out the yellow dipstick that is in the bottom of the engine bay near the passenger side and just use a long funnel to refill it.
