Trunk missing wire??!

Hey Guys , really trying to get this trunk to pop with my remote but it looks like the previous owner messed with it... Will replacing this wire get it going again? If so , do you know which part it is? Let me know if you all need more photos.... Btw ,The license plate light works but the trunk light isnt. I've tried replacing.. Id this part of that same wire??! Thanks

The trunk light and trunk actuator wire are two different. The light is under the rear deck and and the trunk actuator is obviously in the lid. If you have an EX you should have the wire but if you have a lesser model it isn't necessarily a factory option. When I added the truck release to mine I had to add the wire and actuator.

Thanks for the reply , yes it's an ex 2002 it just seems to be missing components

Strange! I guess anything is possible when it comes to how people can monkey with things.
