So I have done some research on this and have yet to find answers Im looking for and maybe some other members can shed some light on this problem.
Since I purchased the car the Wireless Trunk Release while using the OEM remote has problems working.
I already swapped the
-OEM remote which allows you to open/close doors, sound alarm, and wirelessly open trunk
-batteries for OEM remote
-Reset Remote
-changed the solenoid which releases the trunk and allows it to open wirelessly
-checked entire latch area for anything that would prevent it from opening
Trunk opens perfectly when you use inside car release. When I use the remote to wirelessly open it 10 times, It maybe opens 1 out of 10 times.
Im thinking it could be a bad relay but have no clue where this relay would be located.
Any ideas on this or other causes that would allow this to be fixed would be great. Open to other possible solutions on fixing this but using the OEM stuff I already have and not buying a whole new set up.
Thank You
