Alright fellas, i've been in the game quite a while and never posted here no pictures of my ride or any of that sort. I have very big plans for the accord and plan on finishing big spending end of May. Got the car last april for my birthday, attained a job last November. I'm 19 don't flame cause i save for what i want.

Guys i chose the k20 9.8:1 pistons which would put me to 10.8:1 i have E85 around but i think i can get away with my power goal on 93 pump gas without a knock. 400+whp high boost, 350 mid, around 250 wastegate but im sure my 8psi wastegate will yield more than that.

Turbo set up:
ebay .57 trim turbo Purchased (will upgrade to precision as soon as i get back from vacation and dyno tune her. Will be street tuned before i leave)
Ebay cast mani Purchased

Re: My turbo build g23 or f23 head

If you already bought a manifold, then you go with which ever head the manifold fits. The F23A and H22A heads do not have matching ports.

yeah cheaper for me anyway lol, whenever i do want to exceed the 400hp easily without the f having head work i'll put the h head on i suppose.

Stick with the current bore (86mm) for insurance when you go with more power unless you have the money to get it sleeved.

:lawl:

Because you spent good money on quality interior parts just to ruin them in the potential case the eBay turbo craps out on you and your expensive internals and cylinder walls will love to chew up and spit out the fins and debris out the straight through exhaust.. :duckhunt:

^ Hopefully that's not the case, but think about it long and hard. If you're going big, do EVERYTHING big, ESPECIALLY the turbo. BIG=quality, not big literally, you're not there yet.

Good luck with the build man, feel free to PM if needed.

PS - F23Ax head, unless of course you say you already know how to build a G, then just go with that sounds like feel confident in making it happen.

Welcome to the forums, you'll love it here ;)

Re: My turbo build g23 or f23 head

yeah true but im wanting to keep the turbo for maybe 2 months max also....if a blade were to break how would it enter the cars internals? that makes no sense what so ever. exhaust side of the turbo blows the air out which would make a broken blade fly down the exhaust. inlet side well lets say if anything were to get there it would have to go through the ic piping and thru the intercooler somehow then into the engine....odds are debris nd etc wont reach the internals of the car i just dont see it. We will see how the ebay turbo hold out for a month or 2 until i can purchase the 6262 i don't want any other turbo.

My turbo build g23 or f23 head

If the turbo grenades there's no stoping the shrapnel... And exhaust flow certainly won't.
