hey 6ga, as some of you know, i had a flat yesterday and it messed up my rim pretty bad. When i pulled over and change for my spare, I was scared that the tuner lugs wouldnt fit, but luckily it did. But as i securely tighten my last lug nut on to the spare, I guess i over torqued the muteki key.

So, Im currently in at 951 and need to get back to the 626 tonight to put on my stock tires.

question is:
Do you think it is safe to drive over a lil over 50 miles on the spare???
And, is there any way i can remove my rims w/ or w/o my over torqued key. (it might still work w/ the aiir shooter, not vvery sure)

HELP!!! Thanks again.

So is the key stripped? If worst comes to worst you can always use the plasma cutter to get the wheel off

Ah, okay so the key is on the outside of the lug and not the inside... The "Q" was a great explanation! Hopefully since it ripped when you were tightening you can get it off since the rip will be in the wrong direction.

youll be fine driving 60 miles.

as for the key being bent. if it doesnt work, companies do make a "master", but only dealerships can get those. so unless youve got a friend in a high place, you might be SOL as far as thats concerned.

^Darn hopefully the key will work somehow...
all muteki's key/lugs are unique? How many possible combinations are there to make?? if the'yre mass producing them. So there is no similar key i guessin .. =[
