Bless you guys with the trans issues. I will save you a LOT of time and money. I have a 2000 LX V6, LOVE this car. I went thru THOUSANDS of $$ as I have the money but it drove me crazy. FACT: you MUST only use original HONDA solenoids...trust me on this. I went to a Honda dealer in JAPAN and paid $300 for the lock out solenoid. I know you will think I am nuts but it will make your car like it once was. ANY replacement solenoids MUST be Genuine, in the pack Honda if you want it resolved. I replaced all of mine and the last one was the one that sits on top of the trans that has three bolts that are nearly impossible to get to...THAT finally resolved my issues. Also as one of these other member says, drain fluid, drive 100 miles, change it again, three times is what Honda says and it does matter. Good luck and drive happy.
