I have an 02 accord v6 sedan, I am wanting to pep the exhaust up,nothing ricey, I just want a nice sound when I step on the pedal. I hear that catbacks for the v6 cause a loss in torque. I AM NOT WANTING TO LOSE ANY POWER OR TORQUE. I also dont want to spend a fortune. I would love to hear all your guys input. was thinking about just doing cl-s mufflers but i think i want something a little louder and deeper. Please help me out yall! thanks 6thgenners!!!!

both seem pretty expensive and im a baller on a budget lol, does anyone know about swapping mufflers? or anything like that i mean i know a few exhaust shops if i could just have them weld in a new muffler(Any reccomendations?) and then get some tips welded, so the axle back would be like straight pipes? or could i just have them weld two mufflers in the rear?

well if thats the case, you can always just get axle back or even the canister and have em welded on. I had CL-s, they were nice and quite but you can always delete your cat/ resonator for a louder sound.

Losses or gains with exhausts for this car are negligible. The only real reason to add an exhaust is for looks or sound. You can do a full catback cheaper by just having an exhaust shop set you up with some generic piping and then weld on a nice muffler (Tanabe, Vibrant, Magnaflow, Apexi). Or stay with what you have and play arouand with deletering premuflers, etc.

You could also be patient, save up and get an full aftermarket exhaust as well, or pay a shop to put together something for you.

No point in cutting corners, if you can hold out a little longer and get something better.

When you see negligible you mean i shall see neither a loss nor a gain, and if i have the exhaust build a cat back should i just have them use same diameter pipe for exhaust, and so would it go cat, straight pipe, muffler, straight pipe, tips?

I have the ApexI World Sport 2. sounds great I thank It was around $700 shipped. Don't cheap out here this is where you car could sound like rice if not dun right. If you have to do it over than in the end you would have spent almost as much as if you would have spent if you have went with a full cat back exhaust in the first place. So save up and do it right the first time
