So, pulling off my valve cover the other day, I noticed a rater terrible thing. Two of the studs came off with metal on them. I inspected the holes, and sure enough, they're stripped.... Some moron of a PO decided to over torque them, I assume. one of the bolts still torques properly, the other spins. :( I don't have a thread gauge, does anyone know the thread of the valve cover bolts? I'd like to get that heil-coiled ASAP, thanks!

They make them, but for something like that, I'd go with a time-sert. I only say that, as if you end up spinning that bolt/stud out, it won't take the time-sert out with it. And yes, they make them that size too (old air cooled VW engines used those sizes, and were susceptible to pulling threads when removing bolts or studs).
