Random thought...you should check out the Peabody hotel sometime when you get a chance to online. Pretty crazy trained Ducks that ride down the elevator and chill in the fountain in the main lobby.

Just a thought...I am sure you can come up with something.

Still haven't seen any accords around me lately so I guess I will be the only one coming from Nashville.

Probably going to setup a meet for Next year in Nashville. I know that will save some time for those driving down from the ohio and KY area. There are some really nice parks with nice scenery here and it won't be ghetto.

I will be off at the first of OCT and will try and get all the tshirt orders ready at that point.
I will set up payments through PayPal (gift) and if you don't have PayPal I will need you to send me a money order. I will setup a thread soon so I can get everyone's sizes and sleeve lengths(short or long)

No problem boss. Sorry but I don't think I will be able make the trip to check out the parks. Been working like crazy and I haven't had two days off in a row in like 2 months.

I was hoping to make it out next weekend but very doubtful.
Let's just hope that chef or the other guy that lives in Memphis can get us some shots of some parks for us.

No prob, I wasn't trying to single you out or anything. Just wanted to touch base with you since you said you might be able to check some locations out. If you can't do it, you can't do it.

So everyone...that said, we're pretty much relying on C-span and Chef89red to scope out and recommend some locations for this meet. They are newer members and aren't around a lot, so I'm not sure how well that will work. If they want to help that's awesome, but Kyle like I said maybe you can coordinate with them to get this meet organized. Do you think that makes sense?

This was my line of thinking I posted, what are you guys thinking?

I think staying downtown could be a little troublesome, just with downtown areas generally being more congested and having less/busier parking. I would think hotels downtown would be more expensive too. I suggest staying in a hotel somewhere outside the city where it’s a little more open, then cruising from there to our various activities we’ll be doing during the day. I personally don’t mind driving a distance from the hotel to wherever if we have to, cruising would be a good time if we have a decent size group of cars, I think.

So I guess my thinking is…

Hotel – somewhere outside the city, in a nice/safe area
BBQ/meet & greet/share the cars – at a park somewhere along the river off this Riverside Drive that has a little lot we can all park in together
Activities – visit downtown, check out Beale Street, photoshoot somewhere

I've never been to Memphis, I just went off on mostly what Chef and Cspan were saying, and thought something along these lines made sense.
