I heard you can bypass the heater core, but Im not sure if that is less labor intensive. You do lose your heater tho.
i got this problem but on my passenger side carpet...dont know what to do
Most likely your problem is due to a plugged AC drain hose.
When does it get wet? When you drive? When you have A/C on? When you have the heater knob turned to "hot"? When McDonald's stops serving breakfast?
More info = more accurate diagnosis.
Sounds like a body leak, not a heating/cooling problem.
