Must just be a 4Cyl thing, I vaguely remember there being one on my 5thgen when I had to replace the front motor mount

I got rid of mine after the tranny swap....I thought it was a mount for the V6 that was just there. If it's for ride comfort, my ride comfort went out the window a long time ago...

Took it out tonight and chucked it in the parts bin...

Now I should be able to comfortably sit in the engine bay again to clean the intake manifold without that in the way of my footrests. No P/S or A/C FTMFW!
