vtec controllers are kool and fun to look at but you can tune to a much greater degree with a good ecu management system like hondata n stuff...

though I've seen ppl have pretty good set ups with just a vfac
but I've seen better with hondata. ;) it's all up to you though and how much you want/are willing to spend..

but back on that note I'd go with apexi's vfac.. cause you can do alot more than just change the vtec point of ingagement.

i'm doing the buddy club v-con to try to see if making the vtec point higher will save gas...lol. And i have connections to a guy that works wonders with a hondata on honda's so worst case i'll have him give me a nice tune on like 3k vtec instead of 3.5k or something.

if it doesn't save gas, just go all out or don't even get it..lol

the amount of money you're spending on a part that has no real application or function for our car would be better put towards things that actually get you better mpg... like alignments, quality fluids, etc.

don't waste your time buying something that serves little to no purpose on our cars and trying to improve on what Honda has already done.. our cars were built to be efficient not powerful

There's nothing wrong with the V-AFC for mild applications.

It has its limitations, but still.
