How do you get a bubble knob on the auto shift post?! I have searched for adapters for ever!

I'm sure it's something like this:

You take off the original auto shift knob, take off the spring, and tape down this little white thing that's like a button .. if you want I'll take apart my shifter and make a DIY or something

I have a 97-01 Prelude sport shifter. I wish I had 5 spd, but this only cost me $100 including shift knob, boot, and shifter.
