What would be a fair price for my accord?

I'm thinking of selling it, just feel like something new. It's in the body shop right now getting an 02 coupe bumper and hood installed, so I don't have any pictures. Not fully decided on selling it as of yet.

00 sedan ex v6
mechanically solid, runs, drives, shifts perfect
02 bumper and hood professionally installed
black housing headlights
type-r style grill
OEM sedan fogs were on it, not sure what I'm doing with those yet
02 ex v6 wheels, 2 new tires, 2 at 50%
near perfect interior with oem mats, oem all-weather mats, oem trunk liner
H&R race springs
stock struts-weak but not blown
155k miles

I was thinking of listing it for $7000, would that be in-line with going prices? Or should I go higher? Lower? My insurance dude just appraised it at $7500 before the new front end, and I'm not sure if the modifications would increase or decrease the value.

anything OEM added to ur car or genuin honda performance like Mugen. Will raise the value of the car....parts that lower your value of the car are mostly cheap performance mod's. Thats why when people sell their car they stip it down back to almost stock. BUT it depends, some people wont buy a car that looks like its been raced, even if it appears to be running very well and just modded. IMO. Your car I would list for 8k and take 7,250$. But take out the HR springs, bring it back to stock height. Thats what i would do.

I got my 98 v6 with around 100k miles for about 6k... it is older than yours and not as "pristine" of condition, just giving you an estimate. That was last year btw.

OEM or aftermarket mod's don't raise or drop the value of a car. you just make your car more appealing to the general consumer by turning it back to OEM. you just get some of your money back if you part out your aftermarket parts.

as for the price of your car.. i would not buy a car with 155k mi for 7k.. realistically.. somewhere in the range of 6k +/- $500

Sorry man, but your insurance agent appraised you fairly high. I bought my 2000 ex v6 coupe, 124k miles, in near perfect condition, for $5.5k. $7k is fairly high, and 155k miles will scare away a lot of people.

If you lower the price of the car too much, it will attract customers you dont want to talk to. Bs'ers and people with no money. Put your car for a price for like 1,000 more than what u want from it. U may not get as many responses but, anyone interested in your car will most likely not waste their time or yours. Also it adds more confidence to the buyer, when some people dont know anything about cars. Low prices tend to scare off people, or ask "so whats wrong with it" if your car is in pristine condition. Hardly if any exterior blemishes or dents. All routine maintanence, such as timing belt tune up,breaks etc.. have already been done. You want to list the car as "Needs nothing but new home" People are attracted to cars that need no work or as if they were compulsively taken care of. You have to remember that most people dont know very much about cars besides the bare basics. I used to sell salvaged cars, i've seen almost every fruit loop around and what people look for generally. Be confident in what ur selling, list for $8,000obo and take around $7k. If it doesnt work out, wait a little while. Re-list your car for a "new price". OEM attracts generall buyers, and that is what ur after. Don't mess with other "modder fans" out-there dude, they will waste your time. Most of them will low-ball u to the ground.
