Got the stripped crap Moog endlink off last night and replaced it with another crap Moog endlink. In any case the suspension is done. I’ve worked like a dog on the car for the past 4 days, so glad it’s over. But oh so happy with the result.
Hope this can happen, best of luck. You will probably never attend a meet as good as WIM again, so you should have the car ready.
Your edit is almost correct, the dampening is ¾ of the way up since the dial was turned 1.5 turns. But yes, between the firmer springs and firmer dampening, you can ride lower and not rub.
Currently I am riding with 1 fingergap all around. Just seeing how that goes first. When I put on the Works I hope to go lower. Either way I will probably have to have some wheel gap as I am not set up to tuck tire. I may roll the fenders a little.
Thanks man. Digging your sedan with the Momo’s. The photos you posted in your shoot show the wheel gap as even, so I guess it was the shadows in that other pic that made the drop look uneven.
It looks good to people who have never been slammed haha. I really do like it, but we’ll see. I like to walk that thin line of having both function and form though. I’ve driven two days at this height and haven’t had any issues. And I do have to say I love being lower, when I first put on the GC’s and let the car go almost all the way down, I giggled like a school girl. But then I raised it because I knew I couldn’t ride like that. The bottom of the car is about 5” from the ground so the oil pan is safe.
I'm saving for my yellows and sportlines. Don't hold me to it but I'd like to promise that by the time everyone gets to see my car in person, it'll be lower than it is now.

I have Tein SA, but does that mean I can have my height lowered a little bit by stiffening my dampers all the way??
EDITT: I was misunderstanding. I think you meant to say that you can stay functional with that height with your damper settings all the way up, correct?

i still see wheel gap. go lower!!

I think this looks good. Call me crazybut i think you should go up just a smidge. Like you said, you COULD ride at that height but should you? Or do you want to?
