"Ice Blue" LED bulbs to match my shift knob. I'm ordering different LED bulbs for the climate control because it has terrible hot spots. The ones currently are 1smd so hopefully the 3smd ones will fix it. They still are flat not the ones that shoot in 360 direction. Those are the best for even disbursement but i couldn't find it in the correct color. The climate control doesn't look too bad in the picture but it looks terrible in person.

Started to replace rear rotors/pads yesterday, but found the lower slide pin was seized on the driver side and in trying to free it the pin broke in two. So I bought some replacement slide pins and tried to drill out what was left of the pin inside the bracket but that did not work out. So then I ended up buying a new caliper but the stainless steel line did not fit down into the stay and I had to put the old caliper back on. Soo then I had to combine the old caliper with the new bracket just to get everything back together so I could get to work the next day. Now I have to grind down the brake line stay on the new caliper so the stainless line will fit down into it, and then swap the calipers again. Simple job turned F’ing PITA.

Kind of hesitant to turn in my OEM caliper as the core and use a Duralast caliper, but they seem pretty identical and I’m tired of messing with it. I didn’t even get to the passenger side, hope the pins are okay on that side. :gr_guns:

I replaced my rear calipers and pads on Friday...

What calipers did you buy to replace the old ones with?

Does anyone do anything anymore lol.

I replaced my rear calipers and pads on Friday, spent all day cleaning it Saturday, and took it to a show on Sunday. Good weekend.

Now that it's a show car, how about investing in some jack stands.......:coffee:

I FINALLY picked up a breaker bar/torque wrench from Harbor Freight. Love that lifetime warranty!

Also picked up a couple sets of wire wheels to get ready to redo the winter rims on the MDX.

I have some. They're just too big lol. This works decent. Not the prettiest way, but a block of wood saves your pinch welds.

Welcome to the club. Doing the rear brakes is always a pain. I used NAPA before, now I have duralasts on there. I wonder if there is a bigger caliper I can put on the rear, because those little things don't do much and they lock up very easily. This is the third time replacing the rear calipers in 5 years for me

^Dang that is bad. I thought maybe my situation was because I hadn't lubed the pins well/often enough, I hope this doesn't become a regular thing now that I won't have an OEM caliper on one side. Guess we'll see what these Duralasts are made of...

And yeah, these rear brakes blow...wish there was another Honda OEM substitute.

My 15mm Ichiba V2 spacer got stuck and my friend stripped the hell out of the nut.... Only way to get it off was to cut it.... There goes my money because these spacers were not cheap :(

You do what you gotta do.

Next on my list is to get a low profile jack.......another Harbor Freight purchase, for sure.

Well the passenger side rear brake job was a breeze. Now just have to get the system bled and hopefully everything will be back to normal. Then I can return the old caliper/pads for the core charge, & the slide pins I didn't use.

I did things to the new engine for the Accord. Put the pressure plate/clutch on the J32 today.

Nice. Did the alignment tool slide in and out easily? I assume you are doing the timing belt/tensioner/etc too.
