She accused me last night of trying to make the car so that she couldn't drive it She usually understands though Her brother used to be a test driver for Audi and had a twin turbo'd S4 so she's used to cars being modded

Check on ebay.com.au, I just went on and saw there are some. Quite a few if the listings are accurate.

Yeah, I thought about buying eBay but figured it would be cheaper at the yard. It was $45 and they threw in the boot for free.

Working on that

I'm thinking of wiring something up to the sport shifting (triptronic) part of the shifter. It's too much trouble to actually try making the shifting work, and it's just a switch so it's possible to wire something to it. Any ideas?

The tiptronic will work with the computer from the TL. Unless you are an electronics/automotive wizard.

Why not?

Its just how the ECU is set up I suppose?
It does not allow you to downshift with trip tonic into first gear.

With the auto tranny...that's a bad idea anyway.
