Cleaned the cabin filter and let me say I was just disgusted. Look liked someone took a crap in my filter and shoved it back in there. Now I am pleased with the virgin vagina smell.

Well my trunk search has come to an end. I found one off a 98 SMR coupe at the junk yard today, paid $50. It did have the spoiler holes but I found a guy that will weld them all shut, grind them down, then prime the whole thing for me for 100 bones. Then I just take it to my paint guy, I am really excited to finally go wingless. I pick it up tomorrow. :)

Finding a coupe trunk that had never been drilled just wasn't happening.

Nice, Chris.

How do the upgrades feel so far?

While you had the car in the air, you should've thrown some high heat paint on those exhaust pipes.

In a word, amazing. Like I said, the Progress bar has really made the steering feel more heavy and turn in is so responsive. Takes a lot more for the car to break loose.

Yea the piping looks pretty gross.

Took u long enough Red. Lol. Dag on.

Better late than never. lol

Dang that rsb looks fat.
Hows it feel?

I need some headers...

See my response to Derek. :) Nothing gets past this bar, it just sort of works everything out.

The headers made the exhaust more free flowing and I notice a difference in throttle response. The tone is higher pitched now, sounds more like a race exhaust, which I like. Next I need a high flow cat I think.

yup, will make it look cleaner down there, just get newspaper and tape. cover your rsb and other close components and spray it with flat black bbq grill paint.

Yeah not a bad idea. Maybe next summer.

Looks sick! How much bigger is that TL bar than the stock AV6 bar? The Progress one looks pretty beefy next to the TL.

How are the handling improvements?

3G TL bar is 20mm, 6GA coupe bar is 17mm, 6GA sedan bar is 15mm I think? So it make a big difference, even 3mm. Progress is 24mm. But in terms of bang for your buck, you can't really beat the TL bar, it really is exceptional.

Both the TL and Progress bar keep the car flat and kill body roll. The biggest difference is in the steering, turn-in feel, and road holding. I definitely noticed a big difference, especially since I have the bar on the tightest setting.

I used Moogs. Even if you can reuse the OEM links, it's just better to upgrade them anyway, especially for $50.
