Started re-assembling the headlights today, but I cannot get the H1 projector locking nut to thread on. Every DIY I've read said that we don't have to shave down the low beam bucket, but it won't thread on with the room I have now. Any help would be appreciated

I had to dremel the nut to allow it to tighten it into the bucket
and I had to dremel the plastic housing a bit

Thanks for responding. About how far did you shave down?

for the nut, hardly at all. just ground it down until it could spin freely

for the plastic insert, maybe half an inch to an inch at most (estimating so it could be less). I just kept shaving away until it fit without rubbing

You don't have to, if you have the right tools. I did shave some of mine

Had to shave my bulbs down when I got aftermarket housings. I just used a utility knife and kept taking it down until it fit. Prob less than 2mm.

Just mounted new tires. It was ridiculously affordable. Bought 4 kumho sense from tire crazy for $53 a piece with free shipping. Mounting, balance and disposal was $23 each. Feels like a new car. Very smooth and quiet ride. Assured in the corners. Maybe a little wobble during very quick lane changes. I am now a huge believer in regular tire change and this is not even a great tire.
