It might be over kill or just enough kill but the do sell side view mirror cams and combine with rear view cameras nigh be enough to get the "hit and run" dude. Check Amazon. Playing the odds I would say it prob won't happen to you again but might help others. Sorry it happened to ya. Hopefully you got that good insurance.

Here's the thing: I know who did it, but I just can't prove it. There were fire place people at my house and they were working on our chimney. We heard stuff fall of the roof at least 4 times. My car is very close to there. And it looks like something fell off the roof, hit the car, then put a dent in the pavement. I didn't notice the dent until I moved the car, so sadly all I have is circumstantial evidence, even though my car wasn't hit the night before. And the guy said he liked my car, **** that guy. But they had to notice it, since whatever hit the car wasn't there. So either the company goes through with us to get the car fixed, or something else is going to have to happen. Just really sucks on timing also. I had money to go get a 6-speed and start a build over the winter, but no this happens. So I'll keep you all updated and see what I can get from the company.

This is the second time this car has been hit and no one stops to report it. How people can be so heartless I'll never know. Someone just destroyed the car that I put time, money, and care into. Super upset

I think there is a sign of hope, especially you know who did it. Do you still happened to have those objects fell from the roof and hit the car somewhere around in your area? If you do, I bet the body paint is on them, and you can prove that those things hit your car, when they were working on your house.

I thought you have an alarm w/ shock sensor, but it might be a good idea to consider getting one..

Some of the stuff that hit you car might have left residue on the vehicle. If this was CSI we would be looking for GSR. Good luck!

wow that's some pretty severe damage, is the chimney one story or two story? that looks like tool damage, something metal with a decent amount of weight, just crazy how many impact sites there is. id get the manager of that company on the phone.

Maybe unlikely, but it is possible they were unaware they dropped anything, and could be receptive to your claim. Worth a shot to call the manager...

Call the company that guy works at and call your insurance company, hopefully your plan covers that. And bring in any proof you're able to find. If it was somewhere like the hood or front fender or even windshield it wouldn't be as sad, but that's a really unfortunate spot

See something had to if fallen off the roof. But there wasn't an object laying by my car or this whole thing would be so much easier. Surprised the alarm didn't go off, yea I'm hoping something good happens here.

Chimney is a two story. Manager has been contacted, they have not gotten back to me. But I just see them saying "We didn't do it", because we can't prove it with like a video or something.

Yea, it was quite a shock. I can say I've never been more angry in my entire life. Manager has been contacted, just we cannot prove it sadly, since I moved the car too quickly without noticing it. I really don't know how I missed it.

Yea, it's literally on one of the few spots I can't replace. I mean why did it have to happen at all, but it couldn't of moved a foot over to the trunk. Make it a lot easier



But I am going to the body shop today, so we will see what they have to say
