I dont like living in GTA myself. Even on a first gen 2.5TL, the quote was $220/month. We both have clean records. Wife got her G yesterday
notified the insurance folks, lets see if we get any more discount.

Are you dealing with a compnay that gives a discount depending on where you got your post-secondary education?
If you do have that, and you are not, then I suggest you consider that.
As well as looking in to a car/home/life package deal.

Got it from ebay seller "Velocity Tech" Ingalls control camber kit $245 shipped & Wicked Tunning rears from ebay seller "EuroSportsGarage" $92 shipped. Ordered the ingalls tues. Got'em Thursday and the wicked's gonna recieve tomorrow.

Depends on where you live here, and insurance rates are based on the type of car/how many cars like it there are on the road and replacement cost if it gets damaged.
The 300Z probably isn't helping their cause either because it's a rarer car AND his wife JUST got her G licence.
We have a graduated licencing system here, and insurance is higher for people who do no have their G licence AND own a car in their own name.

Actually Z is insured under my name since Accord is in the garage. If both were out, then one car would be under me and another one would be under her name. Cant have both vehicles under my name at the same time

I think you gotta shop around for a better insurance rate man. I don't see a reason why you cannot find a rate around $200 or less for the accord with full collision/liability and 1000 deductibles. Remove the collision if you want and it'll be even less.
With johnson right now i'm at $165/month for 1mill liability, collision and the rest of the required, free 4x tow up to 50km a year, free 4x service call a year(battery, tire changeover etc) plus extra perks like airmiles etc.
