Since tightening the bolts will likely be a bad idea because they are only held into the spoiler by fiberglass, I would say adding a shim layer between the surfaces would be the best route. There are lots of materials that would work, so go through what you have to see. Foam, modeling clay, sound deadening, rubber, some plastics, etc.

Thanks man. I have lots of deadening foam. Which is what I was planning on doing but I was just checking if there's something better out there that I'm missing.

Right? LOL. Alot of the 4G guys are using Back2Black on their black rubber side moldings and as best as I can tell, it works.

If you want more I have like 15 that i made tonight . Or if you have something in mind you'd like me to make just let me know :coffee:

I didn't know you could make your own backgrounds for HU's. Can you do that with all of them, or only certain ones/brands?

That is just so cool...

Finishing installing my act clutch and act prolite flywheel. Thanks to some jackass in japan who didnt use locktite on the flywheel bolts ruining my clutch. One bolt came out jamming the springs on the clutch. They were so loose i walked out all the bolts by hand, well except 3 that didnt come loose. Ill post pictures for a visual understanding later for kicks lol.

Some guy with a Buick Enclave complimented my car, and asked me how old it was. He was shocked when I said it was a 99. He thought it was a 2003 or 2004, lol.

He said his kid wanted one, I just advised him to stay away from automatics.
