Tightened my Throttle Cable for a bit quicker response, at first I over tightened it and was idling high, scary when you're coming to a stop.. haha
But I still have a bit of what seems to be a lag when I push the pedal to the floor, I don't think I've had my sparkplugs done in a LONG time so I think I'll maybe hit those first, I was wondering though do our cars have Mass air flow sensors and or maybe my fuel pump pressure is low?

Have about a 1cm of play in my accelerator pedal.. always been like this since i got it. This normal..?

I suppose, its hard to really judge it that way.
Check the cable slack in the engine bay, I would say mine is almost immediate response to movement. Before I tightened it up, I had a noticeable amount of play before it would engage.
