Let me address! :)

What does "CL" mean? In a magazine article the designers chose CL as short for "Contemporary Luxury"

What is a CL-P? The CL-P stands is the 'Premium' model. It includes Traction control (versus VSA) for example as well as a high and low setting for the heated seats.

What does the S stand for in Type S ? According to EXPRESSIONS (the acura magazine), the S stands for "Speed"

And yes, that means that a type-R 'R' stands for Race.
LOL @ Honda with their clever names and SUPER HANDLING ALL WHEEL DRIVE TECHNOLOGIES!
(SH-AWD)

....

The P also means you're slower than an S :(

But you weigh slightly less! haha

And TL stands for Touring Luxury

Hmm interesting .. what about tsx and rl?

Fairly certain RL stands for Road Luxury (or at least that's what it was for the first generation)
There are some people who want to claim it stands for 'refined' luxury though.

I would assume since NSX stands for New Sportscar eXperimental, then TSX is for Touring Sports eXperimental?

MDX - Multi Dimension Cross
CRX stands for Civic Renaissance eXperimental.

STOP IT! Stop telling me what all Acura's acronyms mean! Now they don't sound nearly as cool and I hate all of them.

I read a story(that I probably should not have) about a VERY different meaning for the 'TSX'.

I'd rock the sh*t outta the Sunset Mauve Pearl  It would have to be the right car, with the right details, but damn that's an interesting color.

Ahhh, kinda reminds me of the good ole' Raisin Pearl :lawl:

haha

Definitely agree it would have to be the right car, that's just one of those shades that cannot be slapped on just anything.
