so my older brothers car (99 cutlass) has been ****ting on him for a few months, and now it has tranny problems. so when that thing dies, he'll be driving my car while im at basic training/infantry school, so at least it wont be sitting for 3 or so months :lawl:

just gotta teach him to drive stick within the next 2 weeks :lawl:. hopefully he'll pay to get the timing belt, water pump, and the other belts replaced :henry:

Yesterday - dropped subframe to swap out the rear motor mounts. Went to the local pull apart and got a front 5spd motor mount, some bolts, and a few misc brackets for $9.

Found a complete 4door EX 5spd accord.

Is the V2 really that different? A lot deeper sound?

It really does just sound better. Deeper and throatier at WOT and VTEC, and has a nice hum at idle. I loved it.

:(

I feel partially responsible for the "generic" part.

I know it's not your fault man... If I would've known it was just generic though I would've bought one for $35 on eBay with the hoses and braket :hide:

Broke the lower control arm bolt that holds the shock.................
Over torqued it and snapped it at the threaded part...........
part of the bolt is still sitting inside the threaded part................

What a nightmare, I guess I can never be done with suspension work.
Guess I'll try and drill a hole and then push it out with a 'push bit' thing..

Anyone done this before?
