I took apart the top of my engine and cleaned out all the gunk built inside it. I highly recommend doing it, my EGR port was so insanely clogged up. New gaskets all around, 2 bottles of carb cleaner later and she's running much better! Not to say she was running bad but there is a noticeable difference!

I drove through a blizzard in the heart of the Rockies, it just got progressively worse until suddenly it was clear. In one section it took 2 hours to go 15 miles.

I was really bored so I calculated my visibility. It went from 1/2 mile down to 1/4 mile, down to like ~25 meters.

My entire front bumper was literally covered in about 3 inches of ice, and I was driving on 2 inches of packed down snow and ice, but there was about 5 inches of powder on the rest of the ground.

Wow, that's crazy. Where were you headed? Did you know how bad it was up there before you set out? Glad you made it.

My sister lives near the foothills, and we've driven up into the mountains a few times, but it was never as bad as what you're describing.

I think I'm gonna do this....

I REALLY like this. I'm seriously contemplating it. It would only be seen when the doors are open and it's just enough, lol. Kinda like getting a tattoo on your back. :lawl:

I was heading home (Fort Collins) from Glenwood Springs. Glenwood springs is about 120 miles West of Denver, up in ski country (past Vail and Breckenridge) and Fort Collins is along the front range, about 60 miles north of Denver.

I had no idea about the conditions. I didn't really check before I left because it had been nice all week. It was a little misty in Glenwood Springs, and then it started raining. The snow storm hit pretty hard when I was about halfway to Denver.

It dumped a bunch of snow last night in my home town too. Colorado is kind of weird, we seem to get the bulk of our snow around Spring Break time. I think it was clear and sunny on Christmas...
