Plus sizing is always better, but the diameter you choose to upgrade to depends on what you are wanting to do with the car, how low you plan to go on new suspension, and your budget. The bigger you go, the more expensive everything gets.

There are all kinds of sites to buy wheels from, just Google it. Tirerack, 1010tires, Tire Discounters, Wheelfire, Ebay, CZwheels, Wheelflip, etc etc. Check out the wheel review thread for more ideas. Also people sell wheels on forums like this one.

Does your budget include tires, or are you saying you would spend up to $700 on wheels only? Have you installed new suspension yet? Always lower your car before plus sizing wheels.

Unless you're going for the Honda Accord Crosstour look, please lower it first, decide how low you wanna be, and THEN pick up wheels.

Thanks for the input man! Its pretty much been all stock If I drop it Ill probably just drop it a couple of inches. Iv never had a dropped car I like the way they look but Iv been in some and sometimes they have a hard time going over a speed bump and where I live theirs a lot of those and a good amount of pot holes. but my car dos have a big tire gap that id like to make smaller. I just started working on the car. As of now all I have done to it is a short ram intake, sound system, and New head lights. Aside from that everything else is stock im carless for a couple of days tho my cars getting some dents fixed that have been bothering me for about a year now. I was thinking about just upgrading to 16s just getting the wheels then buying tires from my local tire shops since they seem to run cheaper than the ones iv been seeing online. The Wheels are cheaper too but ever single shop down here just seems to think that Super over dramatic chrome wheels is all they need to carry -_-...

If you're going with a subtle drop like mine (I have the eibach pro kit plus :shocks, springs and sway bars) you can go 17 without any issues (we have HUGE wheelwells). I chose those because the drop is only like 1.5 to almost 2 inches after settling (I live in New England close to boston so I'm dealing with the same ****ty road conditions so dumping your car is almost guaranteed to rip parts off the undercarriage of your car). You can go 18 but IMO it looks kinda stupid stock or with a mild drop (starts to get that monster truck look lol). 17's are ok and maybe consider a meatier tire to soften the blow over pothole. That should fill a good portion of the wheel gap without compromising the ride quality and safety of your rims. Lemme know how you make out if you haven't done this already (this post is a little old but I was just in the same situation so I thought I'd try to lend a hand.

I was wondering this myself.I just recently purchased some 17 inch rims off eBay and I was trying to determine what tires to get. I am running eibach sport lines with Tokico Blues. The rims are 17x 7.5 .40 offset. Any help on this will appreciated.

17's or 18's are generally what looks best on our cars
lower first, as many have said
check out the Wheel Fitment Thread for examples
good luck and keep us updated!
