Whats your MPG on a full tank?

whats the most fuel youve ever put in your car? Ive ran my gauge down pretty low and only put in 14.5 gall. we have a 17 gall tank right?if so i should be able to get close to the 500 range. i average 400 or so of about 13.7 or so gallons about 29MPG. used to get 32 but got some rims and tires off a friend that shrunk my wheel diameter and the mileage dropped.

365 now that im lowered with 225s and no alignment so toe is eatn tires and mpg

i got 400 and filled up 14.5 gallons, it was a mix of city and hgwy, i also left the car running and A/c blasting for some time while i was taking a nap in this HOT FLORIDA WEATHER. lol. i think its not bad a t all, by the way, i have a 99 ex coupe, 4cyl manual

Never measured mine, wish our car had a mpg meter in it like some of my friends' German cars. Well let's see, I can do a 2-hour trip with less than half a tank, so probably 300-350 on a full tank.

The 18s wheels and tires as well as over 100lb of car audio probably kills some of my mileage.

what is your MPG???

i have a V6 2000 honda accord and i am just wondering what everyone's average mpg. i currently get on average 260 - 300 miles per tank. which is about 17 mpg, which i think is kinda of bad.

i mostly drive in the city 80% of the time and carry 4 passengers.

Does my mpg seem about right. Should i change something or fix in order to increase my mpg?

i can get near 400miles/tank w/ my v6. try sea foaming your car. may gain a few mpgs. if you dont know how to pm me and i'll give you step by step

Yes, learn how to figure mpg's the correct way. You're only guessing by saying 260-300 per tank. Do you really run your car completely emtpy using all 17.1 gallons? Nope. I bet you're only using 12-14 gallons.

1. fill up car (stop filling when nozzle clicks)
2. reset tripometer
3. drive car until fuel light comes on
4. refill car to full (stop filling when nozzle clicks)
5. record gallons used and miles driven
6 divide miles driven by gallons used.

i.e. you drive 260 miles and used 12.6 gallons. =20.6 mpgs

With four people in the car and 80% city that's not bad mpg's.

for all city driving and a bunch of people in the car thats not bad. i get about 26-28 mostly highway with my wifey in the car most of the time .. so thats like anotuer 100lbs ..
