Averaging about 25mpg in warmer weather, low 20s in the winter with 75% highway, 25% city driving. Sitting at 379 miles right now and the gas light will go on today. It'll probably take just under 15 gallons.

Terrible for a 4 cylinder...

You must drive it fairly rough.
Lowest I've had: 21
Highest I've had:30
Usually 50/50 suburban and highway. Don't know if suburbs count as city or not. But I drive fairly hard.

I get about 320 city miles with stop and go on my V6, my old I4 got about 350. Highway, my I4 AT could do just under 500. Haven't tested the V6 just yet.

not i.

its only EPA rated (08 revised) for like 21/28, but i can hit 30 if its all highway. the city driving destroys the average.

but then you look at something like a GTI/GLI with the 2.0t in it...50 more hp, 55 more torque, gets upper 20s city. my dad's TSX does 31-33 on the highway all day. this gen of accord just doesnt get good mileage. even M54 6 cylinder BMWs get high 20s or low 30s on the highway, depending on the cars weight.

385 miles, put in 14.1 gallons today. then take 2% off to correct for smaller tires.

I am like a lot of you 4 banger guys. I drive almost all city and barely hit 300 a tank. I have had 450 or more with 100% highway but city miles really kill the mileage on my car.

For a 2.3L 2001 Auto I4. This week i drove all highway going usually at 120km/h so on a full tank i got 800km in 64.7L fuel tank. So thats about 497 miles/17.1gallons.

I had driven in the city (my speed was around 60 -80km) all week once with a full tank and I had got just over 900km (559 miles). I haven't read all the posts on this thread but I hope I'm not the only one who is getting better mileage in city driving than highway. I don't know how to rationalize this.

After like 55mph (88kmh) or something our rpms start to go higher than the speed is worth. So that's when the millage is going to start declining.
