past sunday i refilled my tank and reset my trip meter. monday i bought injector cleaner and emptied it in the tank. i also reinstalled the bottom half of the airbox. i don't think it made a difference so far cuz i've only travelled 122 kms and the needle is under 3/4.

i don't idle very long and drive moderately. my last reading was 18L/100km which is very bad compared to the stats of 11L/100km.

does this sound like a tune up issue? fuel filter, cap and rotor, spark plugs..
the engine operates smoothly and i have no CEL either

I get 600+ km (about 375 miles) which is 25 mpg

Does that sound right?

definitely way better then what im getting.

got an 02 v6 sedan and im at 110 miles at the halfway mark. mind you this is the city and its the winter - so i spend a bit of time idling to warm up the engine. thing is its about 50/50 city/highway so iono why my mpg is so bad.

only 15k miles - its overdue for an oil change tho. too bad its -30 outside

my mpg is bad...really bad and i dont know why

i got an 02 coupe SE and i do all the regular maintainence and i'm getting around 275 on a full tank. with 50/50 street and highway... its aweful.

my cars tank is around 125 miles when it get too half and the light turns on around 250 miles. i fill up all the way and its normally around 13.8 to 14.2 gallons

i have no idea why i have such ****ty gas mileage. i'm gonna take my car to penske to see what the ****s wrong. maybe the owner b4 me did something but i'm not sure cause my car is honda certified and still under warranty

I got 238 miles to the tank before I had to refill. That equates to 13.90 MPG in the freezing Chicago winter.

I'm assuming the time spent idling and warming up the car might have an effect. It's also overdue for an oil change and I'll be replacing the air filter. At 15k miles, I don't think I need to change the spark plugs/wires yet...
