you have no clue how many times ive thought about it :hihi:

haha, yea man, if you get the right shade of purple, i think it would look awesome. even with a polished lip. im with you on the white tho too, im not so sure how good that would look.

op's probably just going to get some run of the mill black/polished lip wheels anyway, haha.

Someone in socal that has white wheels on there accord should get with another socal member with a granny gold accord and see how it would look. Since there are so many socal members.

Yea I went with the crowd when I bought my second set of wheels buying the black wheels with a polished lip. God I hated them within a month and refinished them to a dark grey with no polished lip. The thing I hated most about the black with a polished lip was the fact I would be driving and I'd see every other import car with black wheels with a polished lip. One time I was driving and 3 other cars driving close had black wheels with a polished lip. Lame.

I think I'll go silver or gunmetal.

Purple, wow, I still can't believe that's serious, but maybe on my daughters car once she is old enough to drive. Not on mine though...

However I did have red wheels on my mazda mini truck in 1989.

We don't look at purple being gay or childish, we look at it as being unique, brazen, and out of the ordinary. It's more a tuner thing I'm guessing, but definitely not gay or childish in any way. I think that's why you are so amazed we are serious, because we have different understandings.

I think you should get black currant pearl, or midnight blue powdercoated wheels. If you want to stick with something popular, I think gunmetal would look great. As well as silver.

disclaimer: I'm not all gung ho about purple, orange, pink, green, or any other crazy color wheels but I understand why people like them
