Wheel Offset

I have a some rims i plan to use. They are +45. I wish it was closer to +48. They are almost exactly flush. I've contimplated going to 5 lug purely for the larger amount of offset choices. It's very hard to find something less than 42 from my experiences.

Alot of information, especially from Sketch 05, appreciate the pictures it explained alot.

The 4-Lug pattern really narrows down the wheel selections, but the five spoke on the Accord seems pretty timeless.

It's really pointless to do a 5-lug conversion. It's astronomically expensive, labor intensive, and really doesn't open your wheel selection up that much.

+42 should put you right at or about the fenders edge or just past it on most wheels. Anything higher than that (+45,48) should keep you in the fenderwell. Obviously anything lower than +42 will start to stick out farther from the wheel well.

Well, alot of suburu wheels are around +48 as well as dsm wheels. And i wouldn't call it particular labor intensive. It's not much harder than replacing a wheel bearing really. And if you have a legit junk yard that charges reasonable prices, it's pretty cheap.
