The offsets on my rims cause them to sit too close to the brake calipers, which means I need spacers I was wondering if any of you guys knew of any good ones that were reliable and safe.

Stock rims- +55 offset
New Rims- +45 offset
Thanks

Ichiba, H&R, etc. Give it a search, there's others.

Btw if you get spacers larger than 5mm you'll need extended studs.

There's two different types of spacers for instance the ichiba version 1 and version 2.

I recommend getting the ones with the built in studs so you don't have to mess with your OEM studs. I've researched this subject and run both types of spacers. I'll answer any questions if you have any.

Macprostore EBay store is excellent. The CNC machinist makes a great quality product. I also love my ichiba version 2 spacers. Any spacer over 7 mm you'll want to switch out your OEM studs for longer ones unless you opt for the spacers with built in studs. Ichiba website sells longer studs with what size spacer to put with which takes out the guess work. You want to only get a hubcentric spacer

My Civic Si wheels are +45 and they fit just fine with no spacers. All I did was grind down the caliper bracket.

NO, it's not a vital component. I didnt destroy anything or mess anything up, I simply made the bracket thinner. It's been that way for several months now and Ive driven close to 8000 miles with it that way. I'll let you know if it snaps on me.

As far as spacers go, I'd go Ichiba. I like the attached stud idea. Even with 5mm, Id still go with extended studs.

Some recommend hubcentric rings, which when you get to 15mm I would probably use if you can. 5mm or 10mm aren't a big deal.
