ok, well, what i did when i lowered my accord, was to let it settle for about 3 weeks, 2 weeks is usually as long as people go, but i had to wait for my camber kit to come in. i had only ordered the kit for the front, because during those 3 weeks, i noticed the front wheels getting some uneven wear, not the rears tho. so i got the ingalls fron adjustable ball joint camber kit and had that installed when i brought the car to get aligned. i would only go with ingalls camber kits, theyre the best out for the 6th gens. they make a front and rear kit, theyre both easily adjustable, but i would say just to let a pro do it. also, when you drop the car, the wheels may toe out, i know my fronts did. some people need only the rear camber kit, some only need the front, some need both. just keep an eye on the tires, like every day, after you drop the car, and youll be fine. i noticed within the first week and 1/2. my rear tires always wore fine, and i had the car real low, so my rear never went out of alignment. good luck with it.

springs settling isn't a bad thing. it's actually a good thing. when you put a brand new springs on your car, it will be the same exact height as your stock OEM springs. but in time, the springs will "soften" up and it'll get lower and lower until it can't be lowered anymore.
