I ordered some 18x8 wheels with 225/40 tires and I set the rim next to the car and it looks like it will rub if I would lower it 1.5 ( tokico hp blues, teins stech springs ) I already ordered the springs and shocks so I'm really looking forward to lowering my car but I don't want it to rub or anything.
So is anybody running this set up on accord 01 v6 with 18x8 wheels with 225/40 tires... Will it be ok if I lower it or should I get thinner tires or something?

i have 225/40/18 and plan on putting s.techs on, then buying coilovers in the summer. i highly doubt you'd rub with springs.
