I like the bottom one, it has more body and better completes the big sedan rear imo.

thanx guys for all the comments n help I think Im gonna go with the type r style cause it's a little more flashy than the m3 without being too over powering so I can still get a rear window visor

I know this is an old thread, but I just bid on a "2001 -2006 BMW E46 COUPE M3 CARBON FIBER SPOILER" on ebay before I checked to see the dimensions. Looks like I will win the bid. I have a coupe and the deck lid is 47"...the bmW spoiler is 48". OOPS!!!

So it will just kind of lean over the rear quarterpanels. Or you can just dremel and trim it.
