If I decide to do some spirited twisty driving I'm pretty much guaranteed to rub on 225/45-17's front and back I guess?
It all depends on the offset of the wheels, but if we're talking about reasonable 17" wheels, not at all man.If I decide to do some spirited twisty driving I'm pretty much guaranteed to rub on 225/45-17's front and back I guess?
^^ Rubbing beyond the plastic bumper tab in the rear? I think shaving the bumper tab should solve the problem for anyone on sportlines.
unless the wheel offset truly is just too much.
Here's my car on Sportlines:
As far as rubbing goes, I do rub with my stock 195/65/R15 tires. On a daily basis, getting into my driveway means the sound of tires rubbing against fenders + scraping my lip. Haha. Fenders will be rolled no doubt.
I plan on running 225/45-17's with a +40 offset. So does this mean with sportlines and pro-dampers I need to worry about cornering?
That and I occasionally seat 4 people in the car when taking a second couple in the backseat somewhere for diner's or whatnot
