The OBD1 will allow you to tune. I think you can get OBD1 automatic ECUs, but I'm not sure it's possible to tune shift points and I'm pretty sure that it is a lot harder to tune auto OBD1 ECUs.
Everything auto is harder/more expensive -_- thanks though :)

look for a chipped p28 ecu thats what im using with my build only doing a 5 speed swap im also probably gonna get an apexi VFAC controller with it

lose the vfac controller. theyre crap.

you can still set the different shift points if wanted to. get a p28 thats followed by high numbers (37820-p28-A_ _)

which is why you should do the 5spd swap. your build is pretty much pointless on your stock f23 auto tranny.

Manual is out of the question. See my ride thread for the answer to that haha
