Why do we mod?

and to tell you the truth i am going to convert over to the dark side. getting a WRB WRX soon. i will still and always love my accord but you can't lie...a WRX is just a fun daily driver. and to be honest i will probably drive by a 6th gen and laugh at how slow it is even though i have the j30. but i will always love the accord like i said before.

haha yah man theres an 05 WRX for sale down the road from me. Haters will say "its not an STi", but it's still turbo AWD.

I mod mine to make the car more enjoyable to me, both when I drive it, and when I get out and look at it. I don't care about making it fast because no matter how much money I dumped into performance mods there would still be someone out there faster. I don't spend crazy money on showy stuff to enter it in shows because no matter how much I dumped in that area there would still be someone at the shows who would end up winning. It's a daily driven Honda Accord, I spend money here and there on maintaining it, making it look better, making it handle better, etc, just so I can improve the overall car. Not much more to it than that.

decent? i think it's pretty huge. majority of the trunks out there are 3/4 of our trunks. some 1/2 maybe i don't go into peoples trunks as much but the one's i've seen are pretty small compared to 6th gen. sedan though, not sure about the coupes.

Well said, although I would still spend money on making it faster/handle better....but that's just me!

For me I just like the way my car looks. Always get the just buy another car quote from my friends. Sure it's heavy, but I've grown attached to it.

The reason I mod my car is because not many people here mod Accord, especially the Sedan But that makes my car more unique plus my 6spd swap makes it even better. Like RedRyder said, I too dislike having the same car that many people already have and same car that people mod. I love the way the 6gen accord look, Sedan or coupe doesnt matter, love em both. Also it is a reliable car for my daily. It gets me here and there with no prob.
