Why won't these fuel pressure regulators fit a V6?

I just took a few test drives, with short breaks for heat soak.

None.

Also no MIL, so I mighta wasted my money on that FPR!

Still working fine.

So I got bored, and I took a vice and an O2 sensor socket...

I squished the crap out of it! (edit: ~10mm) I want to see if it will work, so testing tomorrow!

(edit: my stock one was squished, the new one that works will not be harmed)

Whoops! So I installed it, I was turning ~75psi! But I couldn't snap a pic because it was pissing fuel out the vacuum side, so it quickly dropped when the key was off!

So I swapped it back, and tossed the old one.

Note: if you try this, it may work, but squish them (to start with) 1 or 2 millimeters!
