This should be good enough for what i need to do right?

All i need to do is paint behind the rear "H" emblem on the trunk. I guess the previous owner thought it would look cool to paint black behind it. :eh: oh well.

but i want to repaint it back to oem color, or as close as i can.

Finished it: :D

I'm not 100% sure. My dad works at a body shop, and he repainted it for me when he got it for my 16th bday a few years back, and he "doesn't remember." :eekwtf:

But he's one of those "oem is better" kind of guys, so i figure he did it the same color it was supposed to be. It looks like Satin Silver Metallic doesn't it??

EDIT: or should i just leave the black behind the H emblem? but is that ricey? sometimes I like it, then other times i don't though.

You could paint it...it's such a little area, and silver is an easier color to match, it would probably be fine. But I'd still want the paint codes to match up myself.

What he said. I don't think it'll matter too much. Even if the shade of silver isn't correct, I don't think it'll make too much of a difference because it's going to be behind the emblem, so the lines of the emblem would probably break the color up and no one will even notice .. jmo
