I've got a '98 v6 coupe.

For awhile my passenger side window had problems going up all the way to seal 100%. There would be about a quarter inch gap and if I tried to go up higher it makes a bad stutter noise. Then a few weeks back my mom kept trying to close it with the window switch and it now doesn't work at all. I've done some searching and found someone had similar problems in regards to it going all the way up and people were suggesting it's the regulator. Now that my thing doesn't even move at all, is it now the motor that has died? Or are they one in the same? How much are these parts and where's the best place to get them?

On a related door problem...my key fob sometimes can lock and unlock the doors and sometimes it can't. The same thing happens if I try the door lock switch. It only locks the driver's side, but won't lock the passenger. Now if I push down the door lock stick on top of the door, both the doors lock. Is that a shorted out fuse problem or something?

TAS sells window regulators. Or our current site sponsor.

My remote does the same thing - works intermittently. It's worse in cold weather for some reason. Anyway it's the lock actuators going bad. I haven't bothered to replace mine because it's a *****.

i have the exact same problem, its the regulator.
for the time being, i stuck a plastic pipe under it so it doesnt fall down while im driving, because i dont feel like replacing it in the middle of winter in NY. it does suck when you go through a drive through and have to open your door and stand up to get your food, they always think im gonna rob them via drive thru

lol

Regulators are cheap on ebay and the quality is good. The lock mechanisim may just need some lube or grease

Does this regulator come with the motor or they one in the same?

Hmm looking things up, looks like I can get it with and without motor. Just called Honda stealership and they charge $139 for it. Sheesh.
