OK guys i was reading some old treads and i came across one call clear hood. At the end of it there was some guy name lovableteddy trying to get the point out that wings on front wheel drive cars work. Well my point of view on the subject is that yes they work and pretty good to. I have a friend that races in the SCCA and he drives a TSX and he got one on his. From what he tells me the wing provides good down force on the back to keep the back stable and able to keep it in place and not spin out on them. Reason being because they got little weight in the back and on those hard turns the back loses grip and it could cause it to spin out. Also in imo they look god on some cars it gives it that race look that to me looks so good.

it provides better traction for sho... but how much power is going to the rear wheels anyways on a front wheel front engine car? u're better off with splitters

At speed, it dosn't matter too much. With most cars, they have traction reguarless at any speed a wing is giving decent down force. It's not for traction as in, to keep your tires from spinning. Do you think at say 80mph, if you could make your honda fwd or rwd, it would matter for "traction", or the traction for the wheel getting power solely at that speed. Its for down force, stability. It really doesn't matter what type of drive train it has. High speed handling and stability have far less to do with drivetrain than low speed traction while acclerating.

well any way they still look good im for them for sure. besides if my friend tells me that it will help me out when ever im racing the car in a road track or just goin at high speeds on the highway then I am going to listen to him. After all he races for a living i think him and his crew know what they are talking about.
